Our story
The Shop Worth the Drive
Ka-Pa Tire & Auto Services works out of 4011 3rd Street in San Francisco, and our reputation has traveled a lot farther than that. Customers tell the same story again and again: they came in on a recommendation, got a clear diagnosis and an honest estimate, and never took their car anywhere else after that.
We keep it simple: plug in the scanner, find the real problem, quote the work, and get it done. One customer brought in a Honda Fit with a check engine light; it was diagnosed on the spot, repaired in under two hours the next day, and the final bill came in below the estimate. That's how we like to run the shop.
We book up fast and like to plan the schedule carefully, so call ahead for an appointment — and if you need tires, order them in advance so your car goes home the same day.
- Estimates up front — one repair even came in under quote
- Same-day tire service when you order ahead

What customers say
“The best and a gem in the city. I came across Ka-Pa Tire & Auto Services after a recommendation from a friend. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I will drive across the city just to get my car serviced here.”
“I've been coming to this location to get my tires for over five years. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. They are trustworthy and provide you with great service. When I come for new tires they always have the best recommendations for my car.”
“He immediately took out the scanner to figure out what was wrong and gave me an estimate. I brought it in the next day and it was done in less than two hours. And then the total cost came out LESS because of the actual work he put in. NO ONE does this. He is such an honest, hardworking guy. I'm not taking my car anywhere else!”
